Literary Pride: Come Join Me at the Boston Hostel June 11 at 6:30 PM

I’m thrilled to be part of an outstanding panel featuring 5 LGBT writers talking about their work: Alden Jones, Matthew Gilbert, Jennie Olds, Annie Weatherwax and me, with Neil Miller as moderator. The panel, “Literary Pride: LGBT writer talk about their work,” will take place on Thursday June 11 at Boston’s Hostel International, 19 Stuart Street in the Theater District. The event is free, and we are being featured in the literary section on the Boston Globe on Sunday June 6, 2015. Come, hear some talented authors and celebrate Pride!

I’m teaching a fun, hands-on one day workshop at Grub Street, “Get Writing: Short Memoir and Personal Essay” at Grub’s main location in downtown Boston. I’m also going to be performing excerpts of my show with my friend Randy Ross in “He Said/He Said,” which features two middle-aged men–one straight, one gay–looking for love, connection and a good pierogi, in a free show at the West Branch of Somerville Library in Davis Square.
The show will take place on Thursday November 13 at 7:00 PM at the library, 40 College Avenue in Somerville.

Cleveland–Here I Come!

After months of planning I’m excited to announce my two Cleveland shows:
I’m part of an LGBT Showcase event at Dobama Theater in Cleveland Heights, sponsored by the CH-UH Public Library. Thursday August 7 at 7:00 PM.
And (drum roll please) I’ll be doing my full show at the Cleveland Masonic Auditorium, just east of downtown, in collaboration with the Masons and Gay Games 9. The show will take place on Wednesday August 13 at 7:30 PM….ticket info TBA. If you’re in the Cleveland area please save the date!
